A nod to mid century taste in a traditional home...

This kitchen was redone for a lovely homeowner whose late husband was an architect, both of whom had a love for mid century furniture and design. Their home was much more traditional in the architecture so a balance between the two styles was needed. We chose a flat panel Cherry cabinet in a warm finish with a much lighter granite top. The old built-in pantry was replaced by cabinets with frosted glass inserts on top to break up the brown. The homeowners existing appliances were reused and we added some fun leather stools and inexpensive pendants to finish the look.
